First Impression: Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Profumo

I don't get the beach/seawater association with this one. The development follows the same logic as Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage -- citrus top leading down to a woody patchouli/incense. This might call for a three-way comparison sometime in the future.

There's a strong bergamot note in the opening with some citrus. Not a juicy citrus, but a drier, more parched sourness. No sweetness aside from the aromatic bergamot to balance it out. It dries into a dark, slightly sour woodiness that is now all too typical of this style.

Masculine and no nonsense, definitely, but I would also say a bit heavy-handed. Might be too harsh in the heat and humidity if misapplied.

It's going to be tricky wearing this one. It's strong and I quickly grew anosmic to it when up close. The projection is more pleasant.

Look forward to my review!
